Police bust gang involved in murder of gold traders

Layyah:Kot Sultan police station in District Layyah has  arrested eight suspects of the group allegeedly involve in the murder of two gold traders.

District Police Officer Layyah Syed Nadeem Abbas told a press conference that 25 days ago, two gold traders from Multan, Muhammad Azam and Waheed-ur-Rehman, were killed in Sarafa Bazaar and eight members of the group who looted 1Kg gold and 3kg silver and killed the gold traders has arrested.

He also said that,  828 gram gold and 3kg silver  which worth 83 lac have been recovered from the accused and the seven pistol and three motorcycles used by the accused have also been recovered.

Accused  Usman belong to Bhawalpur,Zahid from Rahimyaar khan,and Khan Mehran,Ali Ahmed,Akhtar,Adnan and Zulqarnain belongs to Kot Sultan.District police officer tells.

DPO also said that,the accused also rehearesed the scene 3 times befor the incident.further investigation are underway from the accused.

Syed Nadeem Abbas also appriciate the team which arrested the suspects.
