ISLAMABAD: The PTI-led government’s ally PML-Q has demanded of the prime minister to immediately revoke recent hike in petroleum prices.
A PML-Q party meeting chaired by Secretary General Tariq Basheer Cheema was held today, which was attended by Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi, Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha and others.

Pervaiz Elahi, on the occasion, took the party members into confidence in connection with the recent meeting with opposition parties. All the party members gave Pervaiz Elahi the mandate for making decisions.
The PML-Q party meeting also discussed the country’s current political situation.
