Quaid Nawaz Sharif to nominate PM's name after successful no-confidence motion

LAHORE: A court here on Thursday granted an interim bail to Rana Sanaullah, the PML-N’s Punjab president in a case concerning the NAB inquiry in assets beyond means case.

The National Accountability Court charged that Sanaullah had acquired assets through corruption.

In his plea, the PML-N leader asked how the two separate departments could probe the same matter of acquiring assets? In December last year, the Lahore High Court had accepted the bail plea of former Punjab law minister Rana Sanullah in the narcotics case.

The PML-N MNA was arrested on July 2 by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) from near the Sukheke area in Punjab.
