PML-N to challenge govt’s condition of submitting indemnity bonds for removing Nawaz’s name from ECL

LAHORE: The PML-N on Thursday decided to challenge the government’s condition of submitting indemnity bond worth Rs7.5 billion to remove its Quaid’s name from the exit control list in the court.

In this connection, two petitions will be filed – one in Islamabad High Court while the other in Lahore High Court.

Both the applications will be submitted on behalf of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, sources said.

A local TV quoting sources claimed that NawaZ Sharif will not travel abroad for treatment if his name was not removed from the ECL.
