ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Vice Chairman Abid Saqi on Saturday demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan to “expel” Farogh Naseem , the law minister from the cabinet.

He urged the prime minister to remove the law minister in the ‘larger national interest’ over the recent controversy sparked over the former attorney general Anwar Mansoor Khan’s statement against the judges of the apex court.

On Thursday, former attorney general Anwar Mansoor had tendered resignation from the office.

He pointed out, in the resignation, that the Pakistan Bar Council had raised objection over his appointment as AG.
