Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to consult with the Muslim Ummah on the issue of severing ties with France.
In this connection, the prime minister has given the task of liaison with the Muslim countries to Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will brief the federal cabinet after contacts with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries.
It may be recalled that the court had directed to bring the matter under discussion in the cabinet meeting on a petition filed in the Islamabad High Court to sever ties with France over the issue of blasphemous sketches.
The court has sought an implementation report tomorrow.
