SWABI: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday announced to build 10 dams during the next 10 years.
He made the announcement while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Tarbela 5th Extension Project.
Imran said that work on the clean water project was underway while the incidents of eruption of fire owing to climate changes were growing.
Global warming was causing climate changes, he said and added that we need to tackle the challenges of floods, water shortage and eruption of fire.
He hoped that the Tarbela 5th Extension Project would bear fruitful results.
