PM promises to protect minorities’ rights in Pakistan

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan is motherland of all inhabitants, irrespective of their caste, creed and faith. He promised that minorities’ rights will be protected at all costs. 

PM Nawaz Sharif while Addressing a Diwali ceremony in Karachi on Wednesday, he said Pakistan is the motherland of all of its inhabitants irrespective of the caste, creed, or faith they follow.

The Prime Minister said he does not believe in religious discrimination as every Pakistani has equal rights, Radio Pakistan reported. He stressed the need for promoting religious harmony in the country. He said the government will protect every oppressed irrespective of his religious alignment.

The Prime Minister announced establishment of Bhagat Kanwar Ram Medical Complex in Hyderabad and renovation of Baba Gurdwara Nankana Sahib. Nawaz Sharif lauded services of the minority community in health and education sectors. He felicitated the Hindu community on the Diwali festival.
