Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held an important meeting with Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar where he was briefed regarding Dar’s dialogues with traders.
Ishaq Dar called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House here on Saturday. PM House spokesperson said that Ishaq Dar briefed PM Nawaz Sharif regarding talks with traders over imposition of withholding tax.
Ishaq Dar said that withholding taxation has been reducted to 0.3 from 0.6 per cent after successful negotiations with traders. Moreover, Dar apprised PM about agreements with China, spokesperson said.
PM Nawaz Sharif also forwarded summary of the ordinance for final approval of the President Mamnoon Hussain.
