PM Nawaz Sharif directs authorities to complete K-4 in two years

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed to complete K-4 water project within two years. He assured the provincial government to provide funds to overcome water and energy crises in Karachi.

While chairing a high-level meeting in CM House Sindh, he announced to allocate 10 billion rupees for K-4 project. He said that K-4 project consultancy should be concluded in six months.

While Chief Secretary Sindh briefed the meeting over S-3 sewerage project. Nawaz Sharif said in the meeting that the federal government had released 8 billion rupees for Green Line project.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Doctor Ishratul Ibad, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon and other high officials were present in the meeting.
