PM Nawaz refuses to comment over brief chat with Modi

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that a brief chat was made with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in good environment. However, he refused to comment over the informal meeting. He reiterated that both countries should hold dialogues for resolution of all issues.

While talking to local media in Paris, PM Nawaz Sharif said that he has no right to expose details of the meeting. He clarified that all matters should be handled in better way as Pakistan needed friendly ties with neighbouring countries.

Nawaz said that all issues cannot be discussed in short meeting while he urged implementation of things discussed in the current meeting with Modi. He added that Pakistan is focusing development across the region, hence willing to hold dialogues with India. He said that meetings were made in good environment with David Cameron, Narendra Modi and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
