Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the Khanewal-Multan Section of Faisalabad-Multan Motorway project today (Saturday).
It has been completed at a cost of about thirteen billion rupees.
The M-4 section will benefit the economy in terms of surge in employment and business opportunities. This motorway is a part of Karachi-Lahore Motorway.
The proposed facility will also facilitate the traffic in Balochistan commuting through the National Highway.
The M-4 Motorway will drastically reduce the traffic congestion particularly heavy vehicular traffic in Multan city and will serve as a bypass to the city.
