Petrol price likely to be reduced by Rs10 per litre today

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has hiked the price of petrol by Rs2 per litre and that of high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.44 per litre, a finance ministry notification said.

It added that the petrol price will be Rs112.6 per litre while high speed diesel would be sold at Rs113.9 per litre from today (July 1).

The ministry has also increased the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) by to Rs85.7 and Rs83.4 per litre, respectively.

According to the notification, the federal government had “maintained the practice of keeping the prices of petroleum products at an affordable level”.
