ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) issued show cause notice to a private news channel “News One’ over telecasting harsh words between Jamiat-i-Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Senator Hafiz Hamdullah and Marvi Sirmed during a talk show.
PEMRA directed the news channel to submit the answer till June 17. Senator Hafiz Hamdullah and Marvi Sirmed exchanged harsh words during a talk show named 10 pm with Nadia Mirza on June 10.
