Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan on Tuesday opposed series between Pakistan and India. He said that nothing will happen if the series delays for one more year even after suspension of series since eight years.

PCB chief while talking to media said that the cricket board will not make any decision without formal approval of the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He added that the board will make future decision following orders of PM Nawaz Sharif for upcoming Twenty20 (T20) World Cup.

India should abide by contracts as its refusal to play series at neutral venue was reasonless as there was no security issues with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He reiterated that PCB will definitely face financial dent after suspension of India-Pakistan cricket series. While answering a question, he rejected need of any meeting with PM as he is fully aware of the situation.

Meanwhile, PCB chief announced that two senior cricketers including Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq will be included in the cricket committee.
