ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has deferred the judgment on the prime minister’s acquittal application in the parliament attack on Thursday.

As the hearing underwent, an ATC judge observed that the prime minister had filed his acquittal plea after the other accused. Therefore, the court could not abandon pleas of other accused and issue judgment on the PM’s plea.

ATC Judge Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan remarked that the case is related to several other defendants and most of them are  being represented by Faisal Chaudhry.
