Panama probe: joint opposition walks out of NA

The joint opposition geared up as they staged a walkout from the National Assembly on Monday, saying they would not participate in the proceedings until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif comes to the House to explain his position on the Panama papers.

As per details, federal information minister Pervaiz Rasheed told the assembly in the beginning of the session that PM will talk about Panama Papers on Friday.

On which leader of opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said the session will proceed from Friday when Nawaz Sharif comes to the House.

While speaking on the ‘Panama Papers’ on the floor of the house Shah said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must come to the House to take the representatives of the people into confidence on this issue.

He said the Parliament is an appropriate forum for the Prime Minister to explain his position on the issue of the ‘Panama Papers’.
