Palestinian students suffocate in clashes with Israeli forces

A number of the Palestinian students suffered suffocations due to inhaling tear gas fired at them by the Israeli occupation forces during clashes broke out early Wednesday in the West Bank city of Qalqilya, according to a Palestinian source.

A statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that confrontations erupted as Israeli soldiers who broke into the city, provocatively toured the streets and set up their military barriers at its northern entrance.

The occupation troops also arrested some of Palestinians in the city after storming their homes, PRCS statement added.
