We don't want confrontation with opposition: Qureshi

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan had made the decision of not giving its air bases to the United States in the national interest.

In a statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India was using the FATF for political purposes.

“We have not only identified those responsible but also taken action against them. Pakistan’s judiciary and administration are playing their part,” he said.

“Whatever we have done to resolve the FATF is in the national interest. China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Gulf countries have openly supported us,” he said.
