Pakistan’s Aleem Dar set to break Bucknor’s record for officiating most Test matches

LAHORE: The ICC’s elite panel umpire from Pakistan, Aleem Dar, is all set to break the record of most Test matches as an umpire by Steve Bucknor on Thursday when he will stand in a match between New Zealand and Australia in  Perth.

Dar, 51, made his debut as an on-field umpire in 2003 in Dhaka.

The Pakistani umpire has so far officiated 128 Test matches, 207 ODIs and 46 T20I.
