Pakistan has urged the United Nations to take notice of civilian casualties in Indian firing on the Line of Control and Working Boundary.

In a letter to President United Nations Security Council, Pakistan representative to the UN Dr. Maleeha Lodhi said twenty citizens were martyred and ninety-seven others injured due to unprovoked Indian firing in August 2015.

She said India violated ceasefire agreement thirty-six times in July. She urged the United Nations to play its role on implementation of ceasefire agreement.
