GWADAR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Sunday that Pakistan had turned into a hub of trade in the region due to the Gwadar Port.

In his address on the eve of inaugurating the trade activities at the Gwadar port as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the prime minister said that a network of roads is being built in the country.

The CPEC project would bring prosperity in the whole country and not in just one or two provinces, he added.

Later, the prime minister alongwith Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong, JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri, Abdul Qadir Baloch and others saw the departing ships at the Gwadar Port.
