Pakistan Railways losses increase up to 7 percent

LAHORE: Auditor General of Pakistan has issued the annual report on the performance of Pakistan Railways, as it’s loses increased by seven per cent in the year.

Railway loses increased up to Rs 32.5 billion while, its expenses reached Rs 55 billion annually, according to Auditor General report.

The income of the railways reduced to Rs22 billion while the expenses increased up to 14 per cent as compared to Year 2013-14.
