Pakistan lose openers early after opting to bat in Dubai Test

DUBAI: Pakistan lost both the openers within an hour of the opening session after winning the toss and opting to bat in the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai on Saturday.

Mohammad Hafeez and Imam-ul-Haq were both removed for nine, caught off Colin de Grandhomme in the slips by Tom Latham.

Both the teams are unchanged from the first Test.

Pakistan went from 130-3 to 171 all out in Abu Dhabi as New Zealand pulled off a sensational four-run win.

The third and final Test will be played in Abu Dhabi from December 3.
