Pakistan defeat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in Galle Test

Galle: Pakistan has defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in Galle Test. Pakistan has to score 90 runs in the second inning to win the Galle Test. Pakistani openers Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad achieved the target easily.

Pakistani bowler Yasir Shah destroyed Sri Lankan bating line in the second inning and took seven wickets. Pakistan started its second inning on fifth day of the match after the tea break and was needed 90 runs in 40 overs to win.

Sri Lanka scored 300 runs in first inning and 206 runs in the second. Total scored of Sri Lanka was 506 while Pakistan had scored 400 runs in the first inning. Pakistan started its second inning after the tea break.

In the first inning Pakistani Asad Shafiq scored 131 runs and Sarfraz Ahmed scored 96 runs. While Perera took four wickets and Prasad three wickets.

Srilankan batsman JK Silva scored 125 runs in its first inning with sixteen 4s. While Wahab Riaz and Zulfiqar Babar took two wickets each.

Sri Lankan batsman Karunaratne scored 79 runs and Thirimanne 44 in the second inning. Pakistani bowler Yasir Shah destroyed the Sri Lankan bating line and took seven wickets in the second inning.
