Alkhidmat starts registration of orphans for Aghosh Homes

Karachi (PR) : Chief Executive ALKHIDMAT, Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig has said that Aghosh Home is a great gift of ALKHIDMAT for Karachi.

He said that such an ideal institution could be provided to the orphans of Karachi and not only education facility could be provided to them in this institution but also other standard facilities of life including accommodation, food and health could be provided to them free of cost.

He said that now, ALKHIDMAT’s dream has now come true.

He said this during a visit to Aghosh Home, Gulshan-e-Maymar where a special function organized for orphans and their mothers.

On this occasion, Naveed Ali Baig visited AGHOSH ‘s dining room and residence. He also inspected the rooms, lecture center, mosque, playground and cultural auditorium in detail and appreciated the environment and hygiene arrangements provided there.

Senior Manager Resource Mobilization of the ALKHIDMAT Inayatullah Ismail and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Inayatullah Ismail gave a detailed briefing on “Aghosh Home”. Naveed Ali Baig said that AGHOSH Home is a unique program of ALKHIDMAT and under it more than 900 children are being brought up in 13 AGHOSH Homes across Pakistan. The expense cost of providing education and training and other facilities on per child is Rs1,44,000/.

Naveed Ali Baig further said that under the ALKHIDMAT Karachi, orphans aged 6 to 9 years will be admitted in Aghosh Home, and they will be provided education and training till Inter so that they can become good and capable human beings by reading, writing to brighten the name of their families and country. He said that children deprived of father’s affection deserve our attention. It is our religious and moral duty to protect them from disappointment and to show them the light. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself took care of the orphans. We have to come forward in this good deed. Naveed Ali Baig said that those who are involved in this good deed with the ALKIDMAT deserve a great reward. He also appealed to the well-wishers to support the ALKHIDMAT in this great mission of sponsoring these orphans.
