KARACHI: Keeping original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) declared mandatory while travelling for Karachi citizens by the law enforcement agency Rangers following press statement on Monday night.
Rangers’ spokesperson in a statement said that Karachi citizens were advised to ensure possession of their original CNICs while travelling as identity’s photocopy would not accepted anymore during snap checking.
Law enforcers have been authorised to arrest any citizen without having their original CNIC, the spokesperson said.
He said that the law enforcement agencies have sought coordination by the citizens besides making maximum efforts to establish peace across the metropolis.
