ISLAMABAD: The opposition on Tuesday criticised the government for not mentioning abrogation of Article 370 by India in its resolution presented in the parliament, condemning New Delhi’s decision of stripping occupied Kashmir of its special status.

Later, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser adjourned the session.

Opposition members including PPP Senator Raza Rabbani said that the main issue had not been mentioned in the resolution presented by the government.

On the occasion, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed also came forward and highlighted
the need to mention Article 370 in the resolution.

He was of the view that the Article 370 was the most significant matter that need to be discussed in the parliament.
