One Killed in Kohat, army called in different locations in KP as polling continues

PESHAWAR: One person has been killed in Kohat in clash between two rival political parties on occasion of Local Bodies (LB) elections, whereas, Army contingents have been called in different localities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday (today) after situation got tense in clash among different political parties.

The army have been called in areas of Abbotabad, Lowir Dir, Charsadda and Nasapa area of Peshawar. The by-elections which also witnessed mismanagement and many clashes  among political parties also reported which killed a man and 14 others injured.

The clashes reported among workers of political parties belonged to Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim Leagu-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party, Awami National Party (ANP) and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).
