SAHIWAL: At least one person died and another was seriously injured in a road mishap here on Saturday.
Rescue sources said that an over speeding van knocked down a motorcycle carrying two people at GT Road near Qadirabad area of Sahiwal.
One person died on the spot in the accident while another sustained injuries. The body and injured were moved to hospital.
The police impounded the vehicle and motorcycle and after registering a case against the van driver at large have started the investigation.
