Occupied Kashmir: India bans TV channels of Muslims countries

SRINAGAR: India has banned airing of TV channels of Muslims countries in the occupied Kashmir.

Cable operators in the valley has been asked not to air TV channels of Muslims countries including Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran.

India’s Information and Broadcasting official Vikram Sahay held a meeting with the cable operators and directed them to strictly follow the Cable Television Network (Regulation) Act, 1995.
