NADRA chairman rejects handing over any report to Imran Khan

Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) chairman Usman Mobin refuted all rumours for handing over official reports to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan during his visit to NADRA headquarters in Islamabad today.

Usman Mobin conducted press conference post meeting with interior minister Chaudhry Nisar in Islamabad. He said that NA-122 report was a part of public record which was submitted to election tribunal but no report was given to PTI chairman Imran Khan.

He said that Imran Khan has presented wrong side of NADRA briefing before media as no report was given to PTI chairman.

Imran Khan was apprised that NADRA has envisaged reports and the institution was independently working without facing pressure by the government and the report pertaining any constitution cannot be shared with any individual, Usman Mobin said.

He said that his meeting with Imran Khan was 10-minute long and he was told regarding submission of the report within a week. NADRA chairman said that Imran Khan only questioned for the delay in NA-122 report.
