ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to close down inquiries against PML-Q leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi here on Thursday.
A meeting of NAB’s executive board was held here under the chairmanship of Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal. The meeting approved to close down the ongoing inquiries against Pervaiz Elahi.
Later, in this connection, the anti-graft watchdog issued an official statement.
The statement said that the investigation had been closed down over lack of evidence against the PML-Q leader.
