NAB, FBR’s excuses for Panama probe ‘shameful’: Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party leader and Opposition leader in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan on Thursday claimed that pressure of Panama probe will be increased time by time over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but it will not be dissolved at any cost.

Aitzaz Ahsan reacted upon excuse made by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for investigation into leaked Panama Papers’. He termed the excuse as ‘shameful’ move of prominent national institutions including NAB and FBR.

While talking to a private news channel, the PPP central leader claimed that PM Nawaz Sharif could prevent himself from severe consequence by accepting Term of References (ToRs) proposed by joint opposition.

Aitzaz claimed that Nawaz Sharif had committed ‘big mistake’ by recording statement of his son on a television channel. He added statement of his son and evidences provided by the PM Nawaz Sharif were contrary in its direction as East and West.
