Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Arif Alvi demands Election Commission of Pakistan to take fool proof measures in NA-246 by-polls to keep the elections free and transparent.
He said asked ECP to print ballot papers under the supervision as MQM has printed bogus ballot papers in a bid to cast fake votes during by-polls in NA-246. He demands rangers deployment during polling in the vicinity to avoid any clash among political activists.
Alvi said that biometric system should be installed on each polling booth to keep the election transparent. If it is installed at 80 percent of the booths, elections will be considered transparent, he added.
