KARACHI: According to official results, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Kunwer Naveed declared winning candidate on NA-246 by-election as he secured 95,644 votes, official results
Announcing the official result Returning Officer Nadeem Hyder informed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI’s) candidate came second as he bagged 24,821 votes, Rahid Nasim, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) candidate stood at third who got 9, 056 votes.
According to RO, a total number of registered voters in the constituency is 357,801 while 131,424 votes were cast in the by-election with 36.72 per cent turnout.
