Mutual cooperation needed to uproot terrorism: Afghan Army Chief

KAKUL: Afghan National Army chief General Sher Mohammad Karimi  in his address to passing out parade as chief guest at Pakistan military Academy Kakul said that the ceremony was a honor for him adding that professional training was always necessary for military services.

He said that leadership qualities was must besides physical fitness to keep moving ahead in the military career.

Talking about Pakistan and Afghanistan security, the Afghan Army chief of the view that both countries have threats from non-state elements adding that strategic dialogue between the two countries were very encouraging.

Karimi said that we were facing with enormous challenge of terrorism in present time and added that internal threats were much bigger than external threats. He urged for mutual cooperation as necessary to control over terrorism as all regional countries were facing joint enemy.
