MULTAN: At least 39 school children were injured when roof of a private school collapsed here on Saturday. The district administration and rescue teams rushed to the ill-fated school and started rescue operation.
According to DCO, all the students have been rescued and shifted to nishter hospital. He said that the school building was in dilapidated condition, while another person was building some shops adjacent to school.
He said that the authorities would investigate the school administration and the owner of the shops.
The parents of the school also rushed to the school and held a protest demonstration against school administration and government.
The police also rushed to the school and took the owner of the school into custody and started investigation.
