It may be recalled that today Imran Ismail met at the office of MQM Pakistan in which he formally requested to support the government in the no-confidence motion.

During the meeting, it was clearly stated by MQM Pakistan that we will stand together, but chaos is visible in your (PTI) ranks.

In this regard, the MQM-Pakistan said that PTI would assure MQM that none of their members is breaking up.

According to sources, a high-level MQM delegation will also meet the PTI leadership in Islamabad.

Yesterday, the MQM-P took a stand that they cannot become scapegoats again and again, the waiting policy is the best.

According to sources, the MQM-P said that in both cases there is not much improvement for the party.

It should be noted that MQM-Pakistan had refused to trust the federal government.

Talking on Geo News program, MQM-P leader and former mayor of Karachi Wasim Akhtar had said that after three and a half years, he no longer trusts in the government.

Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Bahadurabad, the temporary headquarters of MQM Pakistan, where he was received by the MQM leadership.

Sources said that strict security arrangements were being made before the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan at the MQM Pakistan headquarters in Bahadurabad and the security staff has also searched several members of the assembly.

Meanwhile, the grand opposition has also decided to replace Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

Opposition sources said that it was hoped that Sadiq Sanjrani would show neutrality at least on this occasion but Sanjrani has been consistently showing partiality in the no-confidence motion against the prime minister.
