MQM chief to hold press conference today

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain reportedly scheduled to hold important press conference today after completion of interview taken by Scotland Yard Police in money laundering case, MQM leaders told local media.

MQM supremo faced approximately 5.5 hours long interview session before Scotland Yard Police in the case after ending of bail period. However, he was granted bail extension till July 9 while his passport would be kept in custody of the police.

According to reports, the leader has reached MQM London secretariat and he would hold press conference regarding his interview session with the British police.

Altaf Hussain had showed complete believe in British law and judicial system. While talking to media, right after receiving bail extension in money laundering case, he instructed his party activists to remain peaceful during the judicial process.

Officials could complete investigation soon because of bail extension, said Altaf Hussain. MQM leader Babar Ghauri has said on the occasion that the nation’s prayers come true .

Altaf Hussain once again granted bail extension thrice by July 9 in money laundering case. He was investigated for more than 5 hours in Central London Police station.

He was nabbed in money laundering case on 3rd June, last year from his house in Northwest London. He was later released on bail. He has to come in the police station as his bail had to conclude today.

He came in the police station accompanied by Scotland Yard Police officials, party leaders and lawyers’ team. Altaf was investigated in three parts and he replied “no comments” for most of the questions.
