LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, a candidate from NA 130, has said that the MMA leadership would contact other religious parties  outside the MMA and try for seat adjustment with them.

Addressing corner meetings in his area, he said that the MMA workers with the support of the Ulema and religious minded voters would defeat the secular and liberal elements in the elections.

He said that Pakistan was rich with the resources but the corrupt ruling elite had been busy in loot and plunder due to which the problems of the masses could not be solved.

Meanwhile, JI spokesman and MMA candidate from NA 135, Amirul Azeem, has  urged the people not to blindly believe their party or leader and refuse to condone their moral weaknesses.

He was addressing corner meetings in his constituency.

Amirul Azeem said that the traditional parties of the country had confined the doors of politics to their kith and kin but the MMA was opening the door of politics to the common man. He said that the major political parties had become family concerns and their leadership was being passed from father to sons or daughters.  As such, the decisions of these parties were not made by the masses.

He however said that the MMA would go to the general public for every decision and take them on board on all important matters.
