In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to martyr Syed Irfanul Hassan Shah on his martyrdom day today.

Muhammad Yasin Malik while remembering Syed Irfanul Hassan Shah in a statement said that the martyr strived for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from his early youth and sacrificed his life for the sacred cause. He said no Kashmiri can ever forget the sacrifices rendered by these great martyrs and it is the duty of every Kashmiri to remain vigilant and connected to the struggle that is nourished by the sacred blood of great martyrs.

The JKLF Chairman while praying for the heavenly abode for the great martyr expressed solidarity with his family and pledged to take the struggle of these great martyrs to its logical conclusion.

Muhammad Yasin Malik also strongly condemned the brutal behavior of Indian rulers and their authorities towards jailed Kashmiri woman leader, Aasiya Andrabi, and her associates, Nahida Nasreen and Fahmeeda Sofi, who had been lodged at Mandoli Jail on a judicial remand till August 10 but were secretly shifted to Tihar jail on 5th of August without even informing their families and lawyers.

Recently, the relatives of Aasiya Andrabi and Nahida Nasreen visited Mandoli jail where they had to meet their jailed relatives. As they reached Mandoli jail, authorities there told them that incarcerated ladies were shifted to Tihar jail. Families traveled to Tihar Jail where authorities denied them a meeting and asked them to come after four days for the same.

The JKLF Chairman while condemning this callous approach of the Indian rulers said that fascists in power at Delhi had yet again displayed their anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmir attitude.
