KTI announces strike on May 25 against traffic police behavior

KARACHI: Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) has announced strike call on May 25 against continuous bad behavior of traffic police.

The KTI president Irshad Bukhori said that they resorted to strike due to traffic police’s regular inappropriate conduct with transporters.

He said that traffic police personnel stopped vehicles on the name of maintenance and compelled transporters hours to wait which resulted into waste of time of transporters daily. That’s is the reason “we have call strike” he added.

Irshad said that public transports will be closed on May 25 and no any transport will be bring out on the roads.

He said that if traffic police did not change its attitude then they will broaden their protest against the traffic police.
