KARACHI: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique called on the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at Chief Minister House here on Friday.
According to a statement here, they exchanged views on political situation in the country, discussed matters pertaining to Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) and to make operational the non-functional railway stations in the province.
The federal minister informed the Chief Minister that it has been decided to hand over the control of Karachi Urban Transport Company (KUTC) of KRC to the Sindh government.
The Chief Minister, earlier, had written a letter to the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to handed over the control of KUTC to the province, the statement adds.
