LAHORE: The prime accused in the Lahore Motorway gang-rape case gas been been identified, police said on Saturday.
Police said that the DNA of the accused identified as Abid Malhi has matched with the DNA samples of the victim woman.
The accused who has a criminal background is still at large.
The police said that the DNA of the accused has found in the 2013 data samples.
The prime accused is resident of Fort Abbas.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the culprits involved in the Lahore gang-rape case would be taken to the task.
The entire nation and the government stand by the victim, he added.
