ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has appealed to the international community and human rights organization to take cognizance of the killing of Kashmiris in and outside the Indian occupied territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Kashmiris are neither safe in their houses nor any part of India. India and its intelligentsia has waged war on Kashmiris in practical terms and they are being harassed everywhere on one or another pretext.”

Syed Ali Gilani said this after Kashmiri students were targeted in Jodhpur, Hyderabad and Jammu by BJP-backed goons.

He also criticized the Indian media for biased reporting, saying “The Indian media portrayed the NIT Srinagar episode in a way that made life of our students and business community elsewhere a hell. This media is literally waging a war against Kashmiris within and outside Kashmir and if such incidents are not immediately stopped, it will have serious consequences.”

Expressing anguish over the vandalising of martyrs’ graveyard at Kareemabaad in Pulwama, the ailing leader said, “It shows the true face of the occupational force. It is an indicator of their psychological imbalance.”

“India and its occupational forces want to erase every symbol of martyrs and the desecration of the martyrs’ graveyard is an inhuman act,” Gilani added.

Syed Ali Shah Gilani expressed anguish over the killings of Abdul Ghani Naik of Kapran Kupwara during army operation and Maqsood Ahmed Shah of Kralpora Kupwara in Jalandar.

Lashing out at the role of puppet administration, Gilani demanded impartial investigations by some independent agency in both the killings.
