KARACHI: Police on Friday raided house of former interior minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza situated in Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi.

During the raid the police have arrested two security guards of former Pakistan People’s (PPP) leader. At the time of the raid police surrounded Mirza from all four sides.

The Police party comprising 100 policemen and police commandos raided the resident of the former PPP leader.

It is pertinent to mention here that  police have filed series of cases against Mirza which include laying siege to a police station in Badin, obstructing police personnel from performing duties and vandalism under the anti-terrorism law.
