KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with thunder in Karachi on March 22.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new rain system will enter South Balochistan on March 22, as a result of which there is a possibility of thundershowers in different places of Sindh and Balochistan, including Karachi, on the evening of March 22.
Westerly winds are still present in the region under the influence of Jamshoro, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Umarkot, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Matiari and other districts of Sindh. There is also a chance of thundershowers and hail at some places.
The Meteorological Department says that there may be thundershowers at some places in the suburbs of Karachi.
In most of the districts of Balochistan under the influence of the system, dust is expected at most places during March 22-23, while there is a possibility of moderate and heavy rain with thunder at a few places.
