KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Tuesday said that the sit-in against recently passed LG Bill had spilled over to entire Karachi.

Addressing a press conference outside the Sindh Assembly on the 12th day of the protest, the JI leader said that the LG Bill would never ever be accepted and the PPP government should withdrawn it.

He said that the ongoing sit-in was within the domain of Constitution and law.

The JI leader said that a mass mobilisation would start today in the city. Hafiz Naeem said that the MQM had PPP together had usurped the municipal rights back in 2013.
