JI urges Muslim countries to stop massacre in Myanmar

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has said that Muslims massacre in Myanmar was and inhuman act.n JI leader urged Muslim countries to stop massacre in Myanmar.

While addressing to a protest demonstration outside Lahore Press Club he raised questions over United Nations and human rights organization over their silence on Myanmar carnage. The protest demonstration was organized By JI in collaboration with Awami Raksha Union.

He demanded Pakistan, Malaysia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries to stop carnage in Myanmar.

Liaqat Baloch slammed spiritual leader of Buddhism Dalai Lama and Myanmar opposition leader for negligence over Muslims’ bloodshed in Myanmar. He said that it was an undemocratic behavior of the above leaders. He asked world leaders to take measures to stop Muslims’ massacre in Myanmar.

JI leader appreciated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his timely efforts to draw world’s attention towards Myanmar issue. He said that JI along with all political parties and minorities would hold a protest demonstration on June 14th in Islamabad to express their solidarity with Myanmar Muslims.
